Family [Val, Riley]

Yura's put off this day long enough. But only because she wanted to perfect certain aspects of her new powers. If she was going to talk to her cousins, gloat, smile as their hearts broke, she needed to protect herself. The Jungs have always been annoyingly hot-headed and over protective. Especially her younger cousin, Soo-Yun.
After practicing with Lee (he's such a peach, really), Yura finally feels like she can protect herself from her cousins. She dresses up in a pretty sundress, perfect for summer. Her hair is curled perfectly. She looks innocent and beautiful as she leaves her condo and steps out into the Saturday morning sun. Damn, she'd rather be sunbathing right now, but this is more important. She all but struts through town, noticing every double-take and person that quickly moves out of her way. They may not know her, but Yura gives off the aura of someone extremely important. Someone who shouldn't be touched or looked at directly.
She arrives at the gate to the cottage ten minutes later, rolling her eyes as she takes in the...quaintness of it. So very Jung, she thinks. Just because you are poor doesn't mean you have to look it. Yura made a living out of lying about her wealth and she's disgusted her cousins can't even pretend they have a nickel to their name. She carefully steps along the path to the front door, cursing when one of her Louis Vuitton heels splashes into a puddle. Still, she composes herself. Nothing's going to ruin this day for her.
Yura plasters on a pretty smile and knocks on the door.

The modeling agency bought her plane tickets, security let her cut in line before everyone else, airline employees carried all her bags to her plane, and she was upgraded to first class. After landing in Maine, a cabby hailed itself and offered her a free ride to Siren Cove. Yura didn't have to lift a damn finger the entire time. Just the way she likes it.
A trip to the local coffee shop and an impromptu meet-and-greet with a rich-looking man later, Yura now has an upscale condo for a fraction of the cost. Easy peasy. The man--she thinks his name is Bradley, who knows, who cares--grabbed a few construction workers and together they carried all of her bags up to her new top-floor condo. It will need some tweaking, but she's pleased she's found a place to stay so soon after arriving.
Deciding that she's a tad hungry, Yura grabs a purse (no money, she doesn't need any) and heads out into town. Where, oh where should she grace with her presence?
ooc: I was going to wait to introduce Yura but I want her at the ball on Monday lol. Riley & Val don't know she's in town yet~

CHARACTER AGE: 23
BACKGROUND & HISTORY: Cousin of Riley and Val Jung, Yura grew up obviously knowing and understanding the concept of magic along with the inability to actually perform it. In the Park family, traditionally the oldest daughter is born with the family's magical abilities. With her aunt Ji-Soo sucking up all that precious Park magic, Yura grew up jealous and wanting power. Riley and Val broke tradition, why didn't she? Still, she studied magic and it's history.
She grew up in Seoul, South Korea, only child of her unmarried mother. All her life, Yura used her uncanny ability to manipulate people into doing everything for her. She's hardly ever had to lift a finger before. She's gotten everything because of her beauty, being a model since she was 16 years old. She's grown up expecting the world to bend to her will and she will do almost anything to get power.
Bringing us to six weeks ago. Upon their deathbed, Park women can transfer their powers to a family member of their choosing. Usually in her right mind, Grandma Park would know better than to grant her powers to her granddaughter Yura. But sick, confused, and with Yura by her side over the past year, the young woman managed to manipulate her grandmother into passing her powers onto her with her final breath.
And what better way to break the news than to reunite with her cousins in Siren Cove?
PERSONALITY: Yura is a princess. She acts like one to the max. She expects the world to give her what she wants. Especially since she came from a low-income family, Yura manages to get herself what she wants by using her looks to manipulate men. Who needs money anyway? She's judgemental but charismatic. She has a way of insulting a person without them realizing they should be offended.
Don't let her cute appearance fool you. She's dangerous.
OPINION OF THE RIVALRY: A curse? Delicious. Right up Yura's alley. If it came down to her safety, she'd side with whoever seemed like they would win.
LIFESTYLE: Yura isn't rich, but she manages to coo deals out of gullible men around every corner. She'll live in a cozy condo, only having to pay half the normal rent. Arriving in Siren Cove, she'll have no job. But she's not worried. Pretty faces are usually hired quickly.
She also speaks perfect English, with just a bit of an accent.
HUMAN, WITCH, OR SIREN: Witch. She's had the knowledge of witchcraft all her life without the ability to perform any of it. Now with her grandmother's powers flowing through her, Yura could be dangerous. She's honing her skills, still getting used to the sensitivity of magic with her emotions. Her interest is in dark magic. She wants to curse and manipulate until the end of time and she's more than willing to learn.

HEADCANONS:
- Yura has been a model in South Korea since she was discovered at 16.
- She hasn't paid for anything with her own money in years.
- She loves fashion, makeup, hair--she's a princess who doesn't get her hands dirty with manual labor.
- Yura may have seriously hurt men in the past, financially, emotionally, even physically.
- She's a maneater. She mooches off a man for a period of time until she gets bored of him or he's no longer useful to her.
STORYLINES:
- New Powers - Yura's recently developed her grandmother's powers, something that will probably scare her cousins Riley and Val--delicious. She's still learning how to use her new-found powers, and she's loving every minute of it. Manipulating men has just become so much easier.
- Riley Jung - Her older cousin. Riley's a push-over when it comes to Yura, preferring to just give the girl what she wants so she'll leave ASAP.
- Val Jung - Yura's younger cousin. This one is a bit feistier than Riley and will give Yura a hard time if she tries to be manipulative. Still, she knows what drives Val and what to use against her.
- Lee Zhang - Sexy. Well dressed. Has a pool and a disdain for this town. Uh-may-zing.
