It's time.

Yura's put off this day long enough. But only because she wanted to perfect certain aspects of her new powers. If she was going to talk to her cousins, gloat, smile as their hearts broke, she needed to protect herself. The Jungs have always been annoyingly hot-headed and over protective. Especially her younger cousin, Soo-Yun.

After practicing with Lee  (he's such a peach, really), Yura finally feels like she can protect herself from her cousins. She dresses up in a pretty sundress, perfect for summer. Her hair is curled perfectly. She looks innocent and beautiful as she leaves her condo and steps out into the Saturday morning sun. Damn, she'd rather be sunbathing right now, but this is more important. She all but struts through town, noticing every double-take and person that quickly moves out of her way. They may not know her, but Yura gives off the aura of someone extremely important. Someone who shouldn't be touched or looked at directly.

She arrives at the gate to the cottage ten minutes later, rolling her eyes as she takes in the...quaintness of it. So very Jung, she thinks. Just because you are poor doesn't mean you have to look it. Yura made a living out of lying about her wealth and she's disgusted her cousins can't even pretend they have a nickel to their name. She carefully steps along the path to the front door, cursing when one of her Louis Vuitton heels splashes into a puddle. Still, she composes herself. Nothing's going to ruin this day for her.

Yura plasters on a pretty smile and knocks on the door.

Riley leans back in her chair, licking her ice cream. "Fine. But don't come asking me to help with a memory wiping spell when you confess your love to him."

Val lets out an offended gasp, nearly dropping her ice cream. "I do no such thing! I mean, I don't such thing! I don't love him! How dare you!"

Riley waves a hand at her. "So sorry. Forgive me. I meant admit something like how you want him to be your boyfriend."

An even more offended gasp slips out and she throws a bit of ice cream at her. "So rude!! I do not!"

"Oh my God. No more painkillers for you!"

[bewitchinghaze]

"Why? Because I won't let you slander me?" she scoffs, glaring at her.

"Not slander, Val. I know you and I know how much you like your boyfriend," she grins.

[bewitchinghaze]

If glares had the power, hers would be burning a hole through her sister right now. "Not my boyfriend!"

[jiyunnies]

Riley's unfazed and picks at her ice cream. "You make out and like each other. Boyfriend."

[bewitchinghaze]

"No! Just makeouts!" she huffs. "There is no liking! Not in that way!"

"So if he lost his good looks in some freak accident, you totally wouldn't want to be around him?"

[bewitchinghaze]

"...Would he still have his butt?"

[jiyunnies]

"Yes?????" Riley raises her brows. Where the hell is this conversation going?

[bewitchinghaze]

"Then sure. I'll still hang out with him after his face falls off."

[jiyunnies]

She taps her nails against the one. "You're weird, Soo-Yun. So weird."

[bewitchinghaze]

"You're weirder, unnie. Home now? I ate my ice cream," she says, sounding weirdly proud of that fact, and kind of hurried.

[jiyunnies]

"What a good, Soo-Yun." She pats Val's head before finishing her own ice cream. "Alright, let's go." Riley grabs her sister's arm and leads her back to the cottage.

"By the waaaay, Grant'scominovertovisit!" she calls as they get back into the cottage, skipping down to her room, loudly and with much smacking into walls.

"YOU MEAN YOUR BOYFRIEND?" She calls, frustrated with her loopy sister. She doesn't mind though. Maybe she can trust Grant to look after Val while she gets out of the house for a bit.

"YEA- NO! NOT BOYFRIEND!" she hollers back, poking her head out around the door to glare at her.

She sticks her tongue out as there's a knock at the door. Riley shoos Val back into her room before she glances to see who it is. She opens the door, letting Grant into the house. "She's loopy. Please don't let her jump off anything. I'm going out."

"Soo-Yun, behave! And call me if you need anything!" She gives Grant a "good luck with her" smile and heads out.

Val pokes her head around the corner, a blindingly bright smile on her face. "Graaaant! Come heeere! Come see my room!"

His eyebrows raise when Riley quickly leaves and raise even more at the smile on her face. "Yup, definitely high," he mutters, walking into the house and following Val. "I brought chocolate."

She drags him into her room with the uncast'd hand, letting go and flopping onto her bed. "What kind?" she grins. "Is it good? Because my hand really hurts."

"Only the best kind." He tosses a bag onto the bed beside her. "Caramel filled. Cures all pain caused by broken hands, promise."
